TIMBA PARTNERWORK & MUSICALITY Advanced

In diesem Semesterkurs mit Kai und Joanna vertiefst du dein Wissen und deine tänzerischen Kenntnisse rund um die Musicality in Timba. Im Kurs beantworten wir diese Fragen:

Was sind die Elemente von Timbamusik und wie kann ich sie tänzerisch interpretieren?
Wie führe ich kreativ als Leader und auch Follower?
Welche Instrumente dominieren in welchem Teil der Musik?
Wie erkenne ich die Clave und wie hilft sie mir beim Tanzen?
Wie komm ich weg vom Figurendenken und werde kreativer/spontaner als Leader?
Wie tanze ich Soloteile im Partnerwork?
Wie erkenne ich Son (Contratiempo) und Rumba in der Musik?

Prerequisites: sehr gute Kenntnisse in Casino (min 2 Jahre bzw Intermediate 2 bei cubaila viena abgeschlossen) und Grundlagen in Son/Rumba/Styling.

Montag, 19:10-20:10, 29.09.2026-19.01.2026 (ausgenommen 22. + 29.12. Weihnachtspause)

Mode of registration:
First come, first served. If a course/workshop/event is fully booked, there will be a waitlist.

We dance in couples. Ideally please register as dance couples. For solo registrations there is a contingent that will be adjusted depending on registration numbers (see available spaces at registration below).

Upon registration you are going to receive two messages at the email address entered during registration: an automated confirmation message as well as - separately after verification - a message with your invoice and the necessary details for the transfer. Possible prerequisites or proof of discount eligibility will be checked at the start of the event.

Payment:
Transfer for the course/workshop/event after receipt of the invoice within the payment period given. Participation without prior transfer is not possible. No cash payment on site.
