AFRO OSHUN (5 weeks)

In this 5-week course with Osmel you learn the typical dance movements of the orisha Oshun.

In the Yoruba religion, Oshun is the Aphrodite, the Venus among the orishas. She is a river deity of the eponymous river Oshun in Nigeria and symbolizes fertility. She is the orisha of love, beauty, femininity, wealth and fertility, and of the rivers, waterfalls and lakes.

Even though she is considered the most sweet-tempered of all orishas, she is the leader among all female deities.

Prerequisites:
Prior experience in Afro is of advantage, but not a must. Open Level.

We dance solo.
