Afro Orisha Ochosi mit Osmel (5 Wochen)

In this 5-week course with Osmel you learn the dance moves and interpretations of the orisha Ochosi.

In the Yoruba religion, Ochosi is the archaic hunter with bow and arrow, the orisha of hunting. He hunts with bow and arrow, and always hits his mark. In the hunt he is a lone wolf, but with his prey he contributes to the community. He is vibrant and agile, clever, modest and sincere.

In a metaphorical sense, Ochosi represents purposefulness, determination and concentration, bestowing on (wo)man the perseverance to pursue their ideas and projects. Ochosi also is the orisha of imprisonment and prisons. Together with Eshu and Ogún, he is among the orishas received in the initiation of guerreros (warriors).

Prerequisites:
Prior experience in Afro is of advantage, but not a must. Open Level.
